How Does Acupuncture Work for Fertility?

Stress Reduction:  The stress and anxiety associated with infertility can negatively impact fertility. Acupuncture is known for its calming effects, which can help reduce stress levels and improve your overall well-being.

Who can benefit from fertility acupuncture?

One German study took 160 women undergoing IVF and split them into 2 groups. One group where given acupuncture treatments with IVF and one group did not. How many acupuncture treatments will I need?

​

In the first consultation, an acupuncture treatment plan is made in order to evaluate the individual needs. In order to get optimal results, on average minimum 3 months are needed to regulate the hormones. The acupuncture treatments are spaced out weekly. In addition to acupuncture, herbal supplements are also added to the program, if needed.

How much does it cost?

​

​

Depending on the evaluation, a minimum of 10-12 acupuncture treatments are needed. The acupuncture treatment plans include the initial consult and can be used through out the whole year, including the maintenance sessions.
