WHAT IS AN ACUSKIN?

 

​ACUSKIN is a fusion acupuncture treatment that works on the CELLULAR level.

I am trained by the New York acupuncturist Dr.Travall Croom who treats from VS Models to various Hollywood celebrities. The ACUSKIN (a.k.aSynergy Facial) has gained huge popularity worldwide in the last couple of years. 

 

It combines Acupuncture, LED Light Therapy and Microcurrent Therapy which rejuvenates the skin and improves COLLAGEN and ELASTIN production. Light Emitting Diode (LED) phototherapy is the application of light energy to tissue to obtain therapeutic  benefits. The energy is used to improve cellular performance. Phototherapy is known for its healing and anti-inflammatory properties and has a variety of applications across many medical fields. Research has shown that phototherapy can:

HOW DOES LIGHT ENERGY WORK?

​

LED Red Light Therapy emits low-power red light wavelengths to the skin and  is absorbed into the skin to a depth of about 8 to 10 millimeters, at which point it has positive effects on cellular energy (ATP), the nervous system and metabolic processes. LED Red Light Therapy increases blood circulation, helping to bring more oxygen and nutrients to the tissues and cells. It improves natural collagen and fibroblasts production, two components that are important in a youthful skin appearance. Tissues are repaired and natural healing is achieved, as well as a lowering of oxidative stress, something highly associated with the aging process.

MICROCURRENT THERAPY

​

The MICROCURRENT treatment emits low-voltage electrical currents that simulate the body’s own electrical output. It triggers the body’s production of amino acids and Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) which accelerate cell repair and promote healthier cell production.

MICROCURRENT therapy is a FACIAL WORKOUT that trains the muscles on the face on a cellular level. Three specific frequencies are used during the treatment. One frequency RELAXES the muscles that have tightened on the face causing winkles while the other TONES and strengthens the muscles that have weakened causing the face to sag. Another frequency is used to simultaneously REPAIR the production of collagen in the dermis, the deepest layer of your skin.
